Project Institute G4 (Kazakhstan) was established in June 2007. The main purpose of institute establishment is development of master plans for the 4 satellite cities. Institute structure consists of 2 architecture planning departments: economy and planning department, the department of engineering networks and group modeling and 3D-modeling. The staff of the institute is about 50 people.
The institute’s employees are highly qualified specialists in the field of architecture and town planning, with more than 30 years of great work experience in developing projects that have been marked by various awards from the Government and art unions.
In April 2008, the Project Institute G4 performed great volume of urban works:
• Master plans of satellite cities along the route Almaty-Kapshagay;
• Detailed planning design of all satellite cities;
• Urban zoning areas of satellite cities (I stage);
• Integrated transport scheme for the satellite cities (I stage);
• Monumental design schemes of satellite cities (I stage).
In 2009, Project Institute G4 has begun to implement a project of urban boundaries setting of satellite cities G4City, to create an automated information system of the State urban development cadastre of satellite cities.
Work on general plan of urban satellite cities was launched in June 2007, and in October 2007 the team joined the Australian company, a leading consultant on design and planning, a company known for its projects in the UAE, China, Australia, countries of South Pacific region-KannFinch group.
The entire town planning documentation, calculations on the master Plan are made strictly in accordance with the requirements of national building codes and regulations (SNIP) and other interlocking systems of the documentation standards for construction and design.
To create a fully integrated master plan the professional team of Project Institute, as well as foreign colleagues, conduct discussions (workshop), where the most interesting options in technical and economic sides are worked out. All types of work are carried out by using modern software AutoCAD, ArchiCAD, GeoniCS, Autodesk Revit, MapInfo, 3D Max, Photoshop, CoralDraw.
