Green City is the fourth satellite town located on the east side of the road «Almaty-Kapshagay». The town is developed on the south-west coast, south of Kapshagay city. The area of urban land in the intended boundaries makes 1643 hectares. The concept of the city is a tourist center, with an extensive network of hotels, shopping centers, parks, restaurants, entertainment establishments (nightclubs, bars), etc. The city will be divided into different zones of entertainment.

Green city project aims to reveal huge tourism industry in its implementation of cultural human needs for Kazakhstan citizens: esthetic, recreational, educational and many others.

The creation of tourist-recreational special economic zone will lead to an increase in employment both directly in tourism sector, and related activities (construction, transport, trade, financial infrastructure, etc.), to an increase of foreign currency inflows and will contribute to the development of infrastructure of the city, region and country.
